Pillow Fight

Last night, I didn't really know what to expect..and I figured it'd be completely out of control, but it wasnt. No police, except for directing traffic, and I only saw one fight! Thats pretty dope. Will definitely be there next year, and I'll make sure to actually charge my freakin camera, and a bandana to cover my face so I dont inhale more feathers lol.

Concierto!
For REAL music fans (and by real music I mean people who don't think Wayne is the greatest rapper alive lmao) make it out to the Erykah Badu & Goapele concert cause it's sure to go crazy! I've seen both of these ladies live before - and they're so good I'm going a second time-and again the next time they come out. Get there! Next Friday at the Fox Theater in Oakland. Theres a few tickets left, I found cheaper ones on Ticketmaster than StubHub.

Greensboro Four
Feb 1st, 1960, four black college students decided that enough was enough and launched a sit in at F.W. Woolworth's diner. Segregation was still an everyday practice so they were refused service even though they sat there until the business closed. Returning the next day with more students, Woolworths still held out and continued to deny blacks service until July. Yesterday, the Woolworths in Greenboro N.C. was officially opened as a civil rights museum.
Kudos to Franklin McCain, Joseph McNeil, Ezell Blair, Jr., and David Richmond.
