With the recent brokeness of America, San Francisco decided to give the usually-starving artists a chance. Taylor Street in the Tenderloin, Third Street in Bayview, Central Market Street and Lower 24th Street in the Mission will all be displaying local artists artwork in empty storefronts through the end of January.

That type of outside-the-box thinking could have helped them come up with a better website name though - sfartscommission.org
