Real Training Day

[exerpt from KTVU.com] Police arrested the retired lab technician Deborah Madden, 60, on March 3 after they discovered a gun and a small amount of cocaine in her house. The arrest came after a two-week long criminal probe but resulted only because possessing a firearm violated Madden’s probation from 2008 misdemeanor domestic violence conviction.

This lady was going thru alcohol rehab, and her sister reported to her lab that she found coke in her house back in December. So now why is she JUST NOW being looked at for tampering with evidence that was seized during drug related arrests? And yes - she admitted to using coke that "spilled out" of the containers. 90 cases have been overturned, with another 30 on their way in the same direction. I think San Francisco Police Department has some explaining to do! I woulda thought anyone who's on probation wouldnt be able to work for the police - it only makes sense to me!
