Surfer Jodie Nelson wanted to do a fundraiser to encourage her best friend who's in the midst of a battle with breast cancer, but what she didn't expect to get was a new best friend in a whale!
While completing a 40 mile stand up paddle through So Cal waters to donate money towards Keep-A-Breast Foundation and Boarding For Breast Cancer Foundation, for two hours, a 30 foot minke whale, later dubbed "Larry" swam and rolled beside her, blowing bubbles in all his glory.
